Hi reader, Nice to see you again 😊
As my last travelog was an outstanding success, I decided to make another one about my visit to BR hills 🌄.
The Biligiriranga Hills, commonly known as BR hills, is a hill range situated in south-eastern Karnataka.
Here's how it went......

Day1:Going to BR hills

We decided to set out at 8:00 a.m. It was to be a 5 hour journey on car. This time we were ready with new clothes, new shoes and lots of other brand new things.

After an hour of endless driving, we decided to stop at MacDonalds (like last time). The time was 9:00 a.m and there were less customers so there was less pressure on the staff and we had perfectly cooked burgers 😋. Then when we reached the foot of the hills, it was slightly chilly. So we grabbed a quick hot drink from a small tea shop. 15 minutes later, we finally reached our hotel (Hotel Mayura Biligiri)

After we checked into our room, we went to explore the forest oh this hill. We saw many animals like deer, wild boar, monkeys etc. We also saw some elephant dung, which signified that an elephant was there a while ago. After we came back back from our tour, we came to the auditorium and saw a very nice Sholiga tribal dance.

Upon finishing the dance, we went to have dinner. Then we went outside to see the beautiful, clear, starry sky. After getting back to our room, I went to bed while seeing the night sky from the window.

Day2:Coming back from BR hills

The next day I woke up and looked out the balcony and it was quite foggy.

After the sky cleared up we packed up and were ready to go back. As we went down the road, we came across a small lake . There was a baby wild boar walking around the lake.

While returning we were very hungry and home was far away. We were on the look for a nice eatery. We found that someone nearby had set up a place to serve vegetarian brahmin meals in their farm, so we decide to eat there. There some tables and chairs set up in front of a small house. The hosts were very friendly and served hot food. the food was served on banana leaves.

They have two very friendly dogs that guarded the place. The natural surroundings made the food seem even tastier. If you travel towards BR Hills, you also can drop in to taste the food here. You can find the place in google maps Bhagyashree Brahmin Mess.

After spending some time on the farm, we drove along the road and reached home at 9:30p.m. After having dinner I went to bed, remembering our entire trip from the start.

The end :)
