Locked!

Hi reader :D Hope you stick with my blogs! Just wanted to give an update. Everybody knows about the ongoing virus right? (I hope my blogs are giving company while you're at home :) ) Well earlier I used to occasionally go outside for a 15-minute bike ride, but I can't even do that anymore >:( . There is a colony right beside my house, separated by a wall. Well there were 3 Covid-19 cases there today, which meant everyone on our street couldn't even step out of their houses :( . The plus side of being locked in for 2 weeks though is that I can write more blogs :), So you may get more blogs here ☺ So just be careful where you go and always wear a mask when out and always wash your hands. See you later ✋✋

A squirrel (Mis)Adventure

Hi reader, Hope you like  my blogs ☺ How would you perceive a story with squirrels in it? Cute, funny even emotional. But you probably won't think about unexpected or mysterious, and tragic as well would you? Well, today's blog is just that 😶 Here's how it went....... A few days ago, I noticed that there was a bad smell while I was brushing my teeth in the sink of the utility room, But I thought it was just the smell of the shells of the prawns that we had eaten before. Days went by and we continued to ignore the smell (I was confused because the smell continued even after the shells were thrown out). But yesterday I finally realized that the smell wasn't coming from the prawns at all, but from the tap water we were using. Then we decided to check the tank. The problem was that the tank was on a very high place, so with the help of a phone and a long stick we captured some photos of inside the tank. I reviewed the photos later and couldn't believe my eyes 😲 No, it...

Recipe: How to make your own pickles

Image
You really should try it! Hi reader, Nice to see you again :) Pickling is normally used to preserve food so that it stays fresh for a long time. But pickling particular veggies can make a delicious and healthy snack. Normally a lot of restaurants serve this delicious snack for a hefty price. But why spend so much money for it when you can just make them them at home? Yes, this blog is about how you can make your own pickles. Ingredients:- Some cucumber, carrot and green chilies (add how much ever you like) 2-3 cloves of garlic White vinegar (you can also use apple-cider vinegar) 1 tbs salt 1 tbs sugar Spices (anything not too strong-smelling) Container (heatproof glass jar recommended)  Instructions:- Cut all your veggies (you can cut them length-wise, breadth-wise or leave them whole) and put them in your chosen container Add 1 tbs of salt and sugar to the veggies and garlic Take some water (enough to fill 3/4 of the container) and boil it. Add your preferred spices into the water...

Btwin ST-100 review

Image
It's so cool!! Hi everyone ✋👩 First of all,in the last 2 weeks my online classes had started and I had a lot of work to do so I wasn't able to update you all for some time. I hope you understand. But now I manage my online classes pretty well and all my homework for the week is done so I can start blogging this weekend 🙌🙌 I mentioned in an earlier blog ( My Dream Bike ) that I was going to buy my new bike 3 weeks ago. So I went with my dad to Decathlon. There were some rows of chairs, each of them 6ft apart (due to ongoing Covid-19). I was planning to buy a Btwin Riverside bike but unfortunately, I am not a very tall person and that bike was rather high so we had to leave that idea. Then I came across a Btwin Rockrider. The frame was high but it was built in such a way, that the seat went a long way beyond the frame. I bought an S size (from a choice of XS, S, M, L and XL) and adjusted the seat five fingers from the bottom. This Rockrider was an ST-100 model and had 21 gear...
